How about alternating background colors for the list of threads in each forum? You know like the old style dot-matrix spreadsheets with alternating contrrasts. For example: have the first thread in the standard light blue text on dark blue background, the second thread in dark blue text on light blue background, etc.
Thing is: the way I brouse through the forums is to look at the most recent poster in each thread I've already read. With the most recent posters listed on the right side of the screen and the thread titles on the left side of the screen, I tend to get 'em lined up wrong when I'm lookin' at 'em, and I end up opening the same old threads thinking there's been a new post when there hasn't.
No biggy. Just sayin' is all.

If the information you're asking for is more detailed than that, I don't have an answer for you. I don't know what hex format is. This board uses four colors: Light blue for background and text imput, dark blue for most everything else, grey-blue for text and white for links. I'll check it out with making the alternating rows have the same color as the background, and see how it turns out, but with our current color scheme I don't have much faith in a positive outcome. _________________ "I don't have dreams about the Navy. hex format is just a six digit number. first two digits are for the red value, next two for green, last two are for the blue component. and each 2 digit number is a value from 0 to 255 in hexadecimal format. my normal colors are #000000 (black), #A2A2A2(grey), #FFFFFF(white), and i like #000033(nice dark blue). ) 00 is obviously 0 and FF is your max value
hex counts out like this
00,01,02,03,04,05,06,07,08,09,0A,0B,0C,0D,0E,0F
10,11,12,13,14,15,16,17,18,19,1A,1B,1C,1D,1E,1F
and so on. its just a different number system like counting in binary or decimal, but its base 16 rather then base 2 or base 10. _________________ You can figure it out Nate. Just pretend it's a tree!
