So I guess network neutrality is dead?

I guess the republican house gave business what they wanted.

How long until Comcast and Verizon charge Apple, Amazon, Netflix, etc $1 million per month to carry their websites to their subscribers?

If Comcast, Verizon, ATT, etc can all agree on charging Apple, Amazon, Netflix, etc fees then there would not be subscribers leaving one ISP for another ISP. And there would not be exclusive agreements to carry apple only on verizon for example.

53 business days

And yeah, blame Republicans. The Dems had plenty of votes over the last two years and couldn't pass it so the FCC enacted regulations, a judge ruled it illegal, and they enacted it again. Both times it was a 3-2 vote by unelected officials, two of which were never confirmed.

They aren't passing a net neutrality law here. They are voting to defund extraconstitutional government.

To become law, the measure would also need to pass the Senate, where Democrats hold a majority, and get President Barack Obama's signature.

So long, net neutrality? FCC to propose new pay-for-preferential treatment rules

I guess the only hope left is that Apple, Amazon, Netflix and Google join to create a super ISP with no pay-for-preferential treatment. These new rules will hurt those 4 the most.
