I've been reading a lot of Magazines lately and I came across this in this months Wired.

I figured it be fun to post your favorite Conspiracy Theories.

My favorite is the "Fake" Moon Landing Theory.

It's credible because there's no way to prove or disprove that this actually happened. It's possible that it could have all been done in a studio and it's also possible that it's legit.

Check out the documentary "Dark Side of the Moon" you can find it on Mininova or I think even YouTube.

The Fake Moon Landing thing has been thoroughly debunked. Most of the moon hoax claims are patently ridiculous, and even the ones that were reasonable questions have been explained.

Apollo was tracked via radio signals to the moon not only by NASA, but by others including the Russians. If the astronauts had launched but not gone to the moon, that would have been seen.

Further, the astronauts placed laser reflectors on the moon during the mission, and we use those reflectors routinely to determine the distance of the moon from Earth.

It isn't completely impossible for the mission to be a hoax, but it seems nearly so. Further, when one side has a story that continues to check out when rigorously investigated, and the other side make claims that consistently turn out to be false and poorly researched, that pretty much seals the deal for me.

The funny thing is, it's impossible to prove that something doesn't exist or did not happen.

With enough people, anything can be fabricated. That's why I like the idea of secret societies. Illuminati, Freemasons, Amish...

http://www.puppetgov.com/

This one is full of theories about our government. The biggest one was the theory that 9/11 was staged.

Also, these guys might ride your Ron Paul bus, Trassin.

Yeah, they do and I have rather great dislike for them. Bunch of clowns that can't seem to shut up for a few months while Ron Paul is running for office.

Bill Maher kicked some of those loonies off his show a couple weeks ago. It was awesome. He went down into the audience himself to try and help security kick them out. He then joked about firing his audience staff. They still wouldn't shut up, and as his security was ejected them a second time, he was telling them not to be gentle about it.

Yeah, that sounds like them. Instead of making an actual focused effort to get their questions answered they jump around like a bunch of idiots yelling, "Look at me! I'm an idiot!".

The thing is, they have no questions. If they did, they would already have all of the answers, because everything they've ever come up with has been ridiculous and completely refuted by straight, real science and all existing evidence.

Speaking of which...

I'm tired of people using the Science definition of Theory against it. So from now on, it's not the Theory of Evolution, its the Law of Evolution.

There, Fight that.

They do have a question though. The question they always pose is, "How could of this have happened? The government's answer doesn't make sense."

Their real problem is an inability to accept the answer, "A GIANT FUCKING PLANE HIT IT, ASSHOLE!".

Awww, I'm flattered. I think.

Next on my list of favorite conspiracys is the Princess Diana Death Conspiracy.

Some say she faked her death to escape the media. Some say that MI6 or the Royal Family bumped her off to prevent her from marrying her Muslim boyfriend. Some say it was the paparazzi to generate some new media.

I think they had an accident and she died. Sucks.

The death of Tupac.

And then this spoof of it. It starts out serious, but gets pretty funny by the end.

Will we ever know the answer? I doubt it. In six weeks Tupac Shakur is releasing his eighth posthumous album, titled Death Faker. Some fans say the title contains a hidden message which could be taken to mean that Tupac didn't really die on that September night nine years ago. Some also claim that certain tracks, such as Still Breathin' and I'm not dead, motherfuckers contain hints about the star's supposed passing.

Personally this is my favorite part of that.
