Have you guys decided what you're doing on this yet? At first I was tempted to just do a Wal Turban +1 - Counter +3, Haste 5%, STR 2. That seems like too much of a waste of a good item the more I think about it. I think I will use it for a WS piece and add +15 WS ACC, +10 ACC, STR 4, ATT 5. That would be -3 STR and -7 DEX from Maat's cap, but +25 ACC for weapon skills is really hard to pass up.

Might be awhile before i can get this one done, need get some maps that are required plus some other things that i need to take care of.

When I do I will probably be using it as a ws piece too.

WS acc +15 str+4
Str+2 haste 2% or acc+10 attk +5

I changed the title of this thread instead of creating a new one, but has anyone played around with the higher level FoV augments yet? There are screen shots of lots of Weskits with +INT (up to +6). I'm thinking there are some high potential items to try out:

Warwolf Belt
Dusk Gloves (kind of risky)
Life Belt
Cerberus Mantle (risky)
Giga Bracelets
Amemet Mantle +1

I don't know too much about augmenting items. Is it only modifiers such as STR, DEX, and elemental resistance that might be added/removed?

Can also get slow, accuracy, etc. There are a couple thousand posts on BG in several threads covering augments. For every success story, there are probably 50 augments that ruined the item, while another 50 where there wasn't any useful benefit. It's like any lottery - some people do get really lucky.

Post your Augumented Items I: I traded a PCC and got -3 STR

Some of those augments were incredibly awesome. ACC +5 to a Forager's Mantle, HMP +9 to a Noble's. Can't believe some of the items people had the balls to augment - speed belt, dusk gloves +1.
