If you notice, not only is the huge press coverage very one-sided, but also very xenophobic, reflecting the general attitude of the world population.

Recent? They've always been that way. Apartheid was a big reason for that. For the past three decades, entire white families have been getting murdered, despite being native, simply for owning land. 50 years of oppression breeds some serious animosity. It's only natural that outsiders would be regarded with some extreme negativity. Unless you have a lot of money and want to spend it. Then they're real nice.

Johannesburg is in South Africa, not Zimbabwe. The white land owners I was referring to are South African natives. My point was that if they do this kind of thing to people who live there, its realistic to assume they'd be worse to foreigners. Which they are.
