It is alot like lemmings. It is neat and I think all the controls are by the touch screen.
I only played the first 3 easy levels. You can also make your own levels which is neat. _________________ A noble spirit embiggens the smallest man |

TETRIS for the DS has been a fun game with some new and itresting choices of play. I have not completed them all but I finished the standard game today. I think I have had the game two weeks. I will keep playing it to finish the other choices. I think I have 3 more to complete and I will have done everything in the game. _________________ Teachers open the door. You enter by yourself.

I got Children of Mana last night. It's the next in the line of "Mana" or "Seiken Densetsu" series, but it's not exactly an adventure game like the others were.
This one is more like Diablo of Mana. There's one town(At least so far). You get a mission, which takes you to a dungeon. You complete the dungeon, and are warped back to town. Everything so far is dungeon based.
Seems cool so far. I dig the visual presentation of the Mana series. The fighting is fun although somewhat repetitive. A dude from work is going to pick it up so we can tackle things together.
Bummer there's no online multiplayer.

Got it today Yob. Just started the first case, but so far I can say with confidence that it's more similar to the first than RoZ is to FFXI. Its basically 4 more cases with the exact same stuff. I'm cross examining Gumshoe as we speak.
Not that more of the same is a bad thing.

| i read some stuff about the game, i guess the 2 games we have here on DS were released for GBA over there. the 3rd one is also a GBA game, the 4th in the series was made for the DS from the beginning so that one should be interesting if it makes it over here. |

Got a DS last night with Final Fantasy 3 and Phantom Hourglass. FF3 is pretty awesome in that is it a remake of the original with 3d graphics and the like. It is very reminiscent of FFXI to me with the job systems and all (i never played any FF before 7 until recently). If anyone has it and wants to help me unlock the Mognet stuff with letters let me know. I think I have to send and receive 7 to further advancement.
I'll be getting the hotel Dusk at some point, anyone tried it? _________________ An still more glorious dawn awaits: not a sunrise, but a galaxy rise - a morning filled with four hundred billion suns: the rising of the Milky Way. - Sagan |

FF3 was great, if anyone wants the special equipment for white mage, devout, viking, knight, red mage, or onion knight let me know.
I started the Phantom Hourglass and I'm having a blast. _________________ An still more glorious dawn awaits: not a sunrise, but a galaxy rise - a morning filled with four hundred billion suns: the rising of the Milky Way. - Sagan |

Both my older children have DS's now, and I have a used one as well so there's now 3 in our house.
We've been enjoying the hell out of Echoes of Time. I've got Final Fantasy 3 and Chrono Trigger so far as well. I'm especially interested in games which could be played with multiple people locally, using only 1 copy of the game (download play). So far though I've been disappointed in the options you get from the few games we've gotten that offer that.
I recently set up wireless in our house and can now take our DS's online. Are there any decent multiplayer games that other folks are still playing that would be worth looking into? _________________ Oh. Is it Thursday again already? |

Echoes of time was probably the best multiplayer one that I'd played in a long while.
I know they made "Children of Mana" a while back. I don't remember it being particularly good or bad.
Most of the download play games are a bit crippled in some way. I think Mario Kart let you play a subset of the tracks, and I personally find the DS version to be the best one ever made.
It's not a multiplayer game, but if you haven't played Layton yet, then you're missing out. |
