When does this actually come out?

I cannot DL the beta because I have only 768kbps DSL :<

It would take like 3 days.

humm I only have a 8600GT not 9600 and only a 1.6 core 2 duo instead of 2.0.

Well I can't test it in-game with maintenance going on, but I just upgraded my processor.

The first time I ran the benchmark on low I scored around 900.

After upgrading from XP to Windows 7 my scored went up to 1800.

After upgrading my CPU, I hit just shy of 4000 on low. On high the score was around 2700. I realize the benchmark is fairly worthless, but hopefully the game will at least run decently for me now.

And, yes, downloading it is a bitch. I had to do it twice because I lost it when I upgraded my OS. The first time took me about 40 hours. The second around 20.

What are your system specs?

Check out my post on page 6, but I was getting a 5100 on high, and something still wasn't running right on the game. I believe they fixed that issue by now though.

Assuming you have a decent processor and enough memory, the main bottleneck on the game is the GPU.

Operating System Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium Edition 64bit (build 7600)
Processor AMD Phenom(tm) II X4 945 Processor
Number of Processors Logical Core Count 4 Physical Core Count 4
BIOS Award Modular BIOS v6.00PG
Physical Memory 4093.492MB
Virtual Memory 2047.875MB
Page File 8185.129MB
Storage Cdisgusted Hard Disk Drive Total Disk Space 596.162GB Free Disk Space 536.286GB
DirectX Version DirectX 11
Graphic Device(s) ATI Radeon HD 5700 Series

Before, I watched my CPU memory hit the ceiling at 100% any time I ran the game. After switching operating systems it was still bouncing between 80% and 100%. Now, its staying around 40-50%.

The game is finally playable for me. I think a lot of my frustrations with the game was how much trouble I was having to get it to run. I'm fine if the graphics are completely maxed as long as it moves at a smooth rate and is responsive (two things it definitly was not before last night).

The reviews are really bad for it.

I have maybe 12 hrs of gameplay logged so far, and the game needs a lot of work. It has a lot of potental, I just think SE lauched it way too early.

They announced that anyone who signs up for it before Oct. 25 gets an extra 30 days free seeing as how it's still essentially a beta.

Interesting, I'm impressed with that, actually.
