If they add Blood Elves and not Naga thats just a crime. I would prefer they add the hero type classes rather than more races but its good that they are actually workin on somethin _________________ "People really don’t like to hear success explained away as luck — especially successful people. Blood Elves I don't see happening. Based on the lore of the game which, aside from the possibility of female Night Elf druids, has been fairly accurate with the rest of the Warcraft games.
Blood Elves are really just High Elves (who are really just Night Elves with a strong affinity for the arcane) who fell in league with Illidan. Based on this, they would be considered members of the Burning Legion... or maybe just Illidan's peons. This same thing (with virtually no change in description) can be said for the Naga.
With that being said, I have also read that many of the Expansion screenies are just photoshop-edited in game screens. I am not saying those posted in Fyredancer's post are wrong, but until Blizzard puts them out, I won't believe them. _________________ Come join the fun! Mojo is about 100% correct. I doubt these will be put in unless they do like a neutral faction or something along those lines. Neither the High Elves nor the Naga are really Horde, but the would both be cool. We shall have to wait and see. _________________ "People really don’t like to hear success explained away as luck — especially successful people. I would so join the Murloc Brigade.
(I would emulate the noise here....But how to spell it?)
I'm good with any new race. Blood Elves would be cool, but it would attract all the asshattery from the Alliance side...and then we would just have droves of naked Blood Elves tying up the bandwidth at the AH...That would upset me. _________________ "The most likely way for the world to be destroyed, most experts agree, is by accident. I can honestly say I am shocked that those rumors were true, somewhat. Everyone suspected the Blood Elves would be Alliance, and I'm glad to see that isn't true. I guess on some level, it makes a small bit of sense that they are Horde... not much, but some.
Interested to see what race is added to the Alliance now. _________________ Come join the fun! League of Legends is a MMOAG that is both free to get, but free to play!

I am guessing Pandorins. _________________ "People really don’t like to hear success explained away as luck — especially successful people. I would say no, based on the lore again. Panderan hate the Night Elves and apparently warred with them at some point. BUT... I didn't think the Blood Elves are going to be in the expansion either.
I can't think of any race that would be Alliance, but I am hoping it is something from Outland. Maybe the Draenei (though that's just as unlikely as the Paneran, since they sided with Illidan against the Chaos Orcs).
I'm hoping the Alliance will end up with something really surprising. _________________ Come join the fun! League of Legends is a MMOAG that is both free to get, but free to play!

maybe it will be crazy, and the expansion will be a third faction, made up of deamons and stuff. _________________ A west bean pays the fish a soup. |

They have pretty much announced everything that is coming out that they know for sure and the alliance race isnt known yet. Neither is the Blood Elf mount from what I understand, but it is so awesome that they added Illidan!!. I dont really think Panderan make any sence either, but its a cute-ish race, its popular and makes more sence then blood elves joining the horde. Also lvl 70cap is a nice add and will hopefully lead to the Hero classes that would be badass. Did you guys read about the new PvP zone with flying mounts? _________________ "People really don’t like to hear success explained away as luck — especially successful people. One of the board moderators on the official WoW forums came out and said that the Panderans (or however they are spelled) are NOT the alliance race. I'll look for it. _________________ Core meltdown (commonly known as a meltdown) is an accident scenario in nuclear reactors, and is one of the possible modes of failure for light water reactors, during which the reactor pile turns into a pile of reactor.

Just watched the movie about the new expansion... WoW!
One thing not mentioned in the blurbs and outlined form of what's coming, but IS mentioned in the movie is just friggin awesome! Forget Outland, level cap raise, jewelcrafting and Blood Elves. We will be able to enter the Caverns of Time and visit locations like Hillsbrad, Arathi Highlands and the Black Morass in the past. That's pretty awesome right there! _________________ Come join the fun! League of Legends is a MMOAG that is both free to get, but free to play!

Nice. I can't download the movie at work because Blizzard makes you download the movie using some stupid program (whose port isn't HTTP)... _________________ Core meltdown (commonly known as a meltdown) is an accident scenario in nuclear reactors, and is one of the possible modes of failure for light water reactors, during which the reactor pile turns into a pile of reactor.
