From the stand point of a protection pally, I'm digging them so far.

I was wandering around in Alterac Mountains when I was 37 killing Syndicates that are in the 35-38 range (those guys suck because they chain a self buff that increases their armor by LOTS). Anywho, I was fighting an even level doing 15 or so damage a hit (1.5 sec weapon normally doing 40 or so because of that buff they have) when an elite earth elemental wanders in on me.

I alternated between Blessing of Sanctuary and Blessing of Wisdom. I kept Judgement of Light on the active target, used Seal of Righteousness, Judge, Seal of Light. Repeat SoR, Judge, SoL when SoL ends.

Guess what? I won. I had 75% health and 90% mana when I was done. This was on an elite elemental that likes to stun every 8 to 10 seconds. HOWEVER, the fight took at least 5 minutes...

Yeah, I diggin the new pally. Very Happy

You might have missed the part about how long the fight lasted... And this isn't the same as PvP.

While I agree that paladins are indeed quite powerful, I don't think they hold a candle to the might and "*such* bullshit" power of the priest.

When one can Instant Shield (and still be able to act within it), Instant HoT, Instant DoT, Instant AoE Fear and channel a snare/DoT all within 5 seconds... that's just not right.

Granted priests can't wear plate or wield big weapons and shields, in PvP, I have begun to ignore priests if I'm alone since I can't do anything to one. Even grouped with another melee is worthless as we will get sent running wild with the push of a button. At least the Paladin's bullshit powers are on long timers (5 minutes is long in PvP and 1 hour is almost pointless).

I'm not saying that paladin's weren't buffed with 1.9... they were and rightly so! But when 1.10 comes round with the priesty revamp... I'm gonna be scared. Very scared.

Shaman and druids I just hate because you can't slow them down. I think shifting to drop snares is just way too overpowering... but only really comes into effect for the Warsong Gulch battle ground. Then it's REALLY REALLY seen as "*such* bullshit".
