without fillers you would not see a development of the characters |

Thats not what a filler is. A filler is an episode that neither advances the story nor advances character development... which is all Naruto has been for the last 50+ episodes. They dont do anything that makes any sence at all contextually either. All of the charaters have gotten weaker than they were before, especially Naruto which is both sad and frustrating. If they even used some remotely funny material it might be worth watching them, but as it is now its more like watching some watered down American crap. It has no soul, no life and no purpose other than to sustain the name... thats not art, thats the American economy influencing far too many decision makers in Japanland. _________________ "People really don’t like to hear success explained away as luck — especially successful people. ...because I feel that I really learned who Naruto is as a person; his hopes and dreams, inner demons and secret yearnings when he negated half a dozen poorly animated episodes by farting on a bug. _________________ Purring pocket pincher pilfers plenty of pretty prizes. |

Not yet, but it is expected to be over at episode 199.
From Narutofan.com
Quote: | Naruto Part 2 to begin Episode 200
Reported by: Tazmo on Monday, Aug. 14th, 2006 at 12:05PM
If we are to believe recent reports coming out today, the Naruto anime fillers will come to an end with Episode 199 of the Japanese Naruto anime series, and the much awaited Kakashi Gaiden will air starting on Episode 200 and go through to Episode 204, and Part 2 of the Naruto series that has been over a year in the making will air with Episode 205. The episode titles for the following are: Konoha's Yellow Flash Appears!, Kakashi Gaiden Starts!!!!!, Kakashi Break Down! The Sharingan Awakens, and finally End of Kakashi Gaiden! 205 Begins the Next Generation! - whether this is true or not we will have to wait and see, but it sure sounds convincing and Naruto fans around the world will rejoice! It should be noted that this is not 100% confirmed, and may or may not be correct. So, please don't get your hopes up until such time there is confirmation.
|
I hope it is true, maybe then I'll start watching again. |

The release of episode 203-205 of Naruto has been delayed due to circumstances beyond Dattebayo's control.
The episode is a 90 minute special with new opening and ending songs. Translation and timing for all parts including the opening and ending is complete, however due to unavailability of proper quality source video (raw) we made a decision to delay the release.
Dattebayo will release the 3-episode Naruto special as soon as we are able to do so while still maintaining our standards for quality releases.
There appears to have been a good raw released today, so they should be done soon hopefully. _________________ Spring is for hibernation, summer is for sleeping, and autumn is for napping, thus winter is for play. |
