So I finished Full Metal Alchemist, Bleach, and Naruto. Now I'm lost. Anyone got a good recommendation? I was thinkin about watchin Outlaw Star but I saw the show when it was on Cartoon Network long ago and I don't feel like watching it again. Well, actually I'm jus tired of staring at the screen and having to read fast enough so I don't miss what was said. I think my eyes are f'kin up because of it. Oh well... I've always wanted glasses |

Kenshin as in Samurai X or Rurouni? I've seen FLCL on Adult Swim and I thought it was great. I think Samurai Deeper Kyo comes on one of our movie channels. Has someone named "Demon Eyes", right? Never heard of the other two. I'll see if I can get em. |

By Kenshin he means both. Rurouni Kenshin is the TV series, and the OAV's (Samurai X stuff) serve as a prequel and a finale to the TV series. If you're goign to watch Kenshin, I'd recommend watching the TV series a bit first, then watching the "Trust" and "Betrayal" Samurai X stuff. Do not watch "Reflections" until after you've finished at least the second season of the TV series, since "Reflections" is the definitive end to the show.
Azumanga and His and Her Circumstances are Japanese hgh school shows. Azumanga is just following a group of 6 girls through their school career. It's an amusing show but there's little action. His and Her Circumstances is a love story that has some very humorous moments but the ending left much to be desired (as in, where is it?).
12 Kingdoms I've heard many god things about. I've only watched the first 10 or so episodes but those were very good. It's a fantasy series set in an alternative world, with a couple of folks from this world trapped there and trying to deal.
Samurai Deeper Kyo is a decent show too. The "Demon Eyes" guy you mentioned is the main character, and he's only marginally "good."
I really enjoyed Abenobashi Magical Shopping Arcade. It's zany similar to how FLCL was, but there's also a very good storyline. It's chock full o' comedy.
I also really enjoyed RahXephon. It has similarities to Neon Genesis Evangelion, but in the end it's much more understandable. It's a giant robot show filled with tolerable angst.
Some other shows I really liked but are a little old:
-Love Hina (Very good parody of love comedy animes)
-The Slayers (TV series, Fantasy comedy show. Art style's a little odd for anime)
-Noir (Hot chicks with guns kill anyone in their way)
I'm sure I'll think of others later. _________________ "I don't have dreams about the Navy. The Navy killed all of my dreams." - Buddy Lee

If you can get over the pedo-vibe (the male lead is actually 18 but everyone thinks he's younger and he calls his lover ma'am...), then Onegai Sensei is a pretty cute comedy/love story. Probably not what you're used to, but it's worth a watch. _________________ Purring pocket pincher pilfers plenty of pretty prizes. |

That first episode was too funny! Anyone know where I can get the episodes for BitLord? YouTube has censors. |

I'm not hip to the illegal downloading scene, but I do heartily recommend Please Teacher. There's a sequel of sorts, Please Twins, that has different main characters but a lot of the same supporting characters from Please Teacher, as well as occasional cameos from most of the rest of the cast.
I remember talking about Please Teacher and Please Twins in what seems now like another life. I warn you now though, the Teacher thread contains spoilers.
The opening song to this series came on my playlist today, and it reminded me of how much I enjoyed the series. _________________ "I don't have dreams about the Navy. The Navy killed all of my dreams." - Buddy Lee

I just wanna see it without censors. It doesn't have to be on BitLord.
Is Please, Twins worth watching? |

Just finished watching Please Teacher and I loved it. I dunno if it's because I hit on just about every good lookin teacher in high school or if it's because I kinda like romantics but I loved it a lot. It was way too short in my opinion. I just hope Please Twins is just half as good as this was to me.
Ummm..... *maybe spoiler* ......
