I need a Yovra Organ for a Soil Gorget myself, but my one fight with a Yovra didn't go so well. We had 11 people, but I do believe that was an "HQ" UFO, so not sure how many people we'd need for one of the "NQ" ones.

I'd like to get one.

The HQ one's are pretty strong, but 100% drop. Yob and I killed a couple once with a manaburn I believe.

I'm pretty sure I've seen the wussier one's done with a less than full group (3-4) with a nin tanking, but that seems dangerous. I always wanted to try burning one of them.

the lessers can me done with a normal party, with blink tank for sure. never actually had a pld when doing HQ or NQ. as for burning the NQ ones, 3 blm and a rdm works. its not pretty but it works.

What's the drop rate on NQ?

Let me know when, and I'll try to be there.

Since I'm not much of a melee, could someone direct me to which one I'd want for my puppetmaster? If I'm reading the following chart correctly, it would appear that I'd want the thunder gorget. (PUP doesn't get Asuran Fists)

Also, for those who have one, what's the effectiveness?

drop rate on the NQ is around 50%. personally i have seen then drop more than not. if you go to the gorgets in the wiki it list the WSs that are affected below them. Thunder works for raging fist. you don't get much of a damage inc, but the acc increase is noticable.

I've heard it's 10% ACC/DAM and tests show that they're almost as or as good as the jailor torques for WS damage.

Looks like I was right then... Thunder for
Raging Fists
Howling Fist
Dragon Kick

I haven't seen much discussed about it for PUP, but it seems like it may be even more worthwhile with the C rating. Or maybe the reverse is true.

General concensus is that they are superior to the torques for WS, at least on BG. In any case, the thing with organ farming is you can't gear up for a night of it, the Yovra are NMs, with really long repop times, and there aren't many of them in Lumoria.

Time between pops is easy to keep busy farming the rest of the organs people need. Getting everyones isn't something that will be quick though.

I've got too much going on in-game these days. Really my only big chunk of free time is Saturdays during the day.

Dynamis takes up Wednesday and Saturday evenings, Limbus Sunday and Thursday evenings, and Nyzul Isle assault static on Friday evenings.

Saturday seems fairly okay for me. The earlier in the day the better, but I'm a bit behind the east coast anyhow.
