Anyone else nearly as excited about this patch as I am? I haven't even fully read through everything and I'm pumped.

It's amazing. They did a fantastic job with this patch. They made shammys pwn harder in PvE and PvP and both boosts are huge. The fact I now die 30% slower in arenas makes me sooo much more wanted by my team... hah.

Besides the shammy improvements pretty much everything else was improved.... caster dps is now wtfpwnx2 and Zul'Aman is supposed to be pretty good, I know my guild sent in two groups last night to have fun. Guild banks rock. Checking people's specs rocks. Patch 2.3 rocks.

Know what I liked the best?

Quote:
The latest patch of World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade shows a benefit on today's popular multicore processors like the Intel(r) Core(tm)2 Duo processor family. The enhanced patch has demonstrated higher frame rates by spreading the work across both processor cores.

Get some!

I'm capped at 59.6 fps when flying over Shatt City. That's usually lag central.

All of the mobs inside Stormgarde are no longer Elite.

Same for the Troll temple in Hinterlands, the ogres in STV, the ogres in Loch Modan, just outside of Zul'Farrak, pretty much anywhere outside instances Pre-BC.

I don't know if it's me, and I don't really feel like looking at patch notes but did they bump honor gained from all non-AV BGs?

Yeah, AB officially kicks arse now. 300 honor per game or so. And S3 is a godsend, can't wait for that cause S3 gear looks sweet and is sweet and new weapons for me for honor.

This patch also kicked major butt... I can't believe they buffed SubDagger SOOOOOOOO much... I could already (ie before the patch) 2 shot some people in my level range. >_>

Also, Mages can go to hell. Anyone know how many peeps Freezing Trap can freeze now? I am not entirely sure what to make of the change to Crusader Strike either.

I think mages need the help. Right now they're mostly good with ketchup, but then I'm not a melee class...

You go to hell, Midget rogues! Leave my poor gnome mage alone. He's so frightened and terrified in battlegrounds. He walks around trying to make friends then BAM!.... fuckin rogue 1-2 shots him. Poor lil guy. He just wants what we all want... life, honor, friends, and victory.... But you damn rogues won't let him! *tear*... you won't let him...

Nah, resilience changes everything. No crits = dead dagger rogue. Come play on Demon Soul with the real men Eisen.

Mish, Ice Mage is one of the most powerful classes in the game. Ice Specs generally have way more talents points spent in it than any other tree for any other class.

Yeah. My gnome mage has been fire spec from the beginning. He's at 49 now (hasn't even been a month of gameplay yet....) and I went frost spec.... I went back to fire the next day. I just didn't like it.
