One winner per server?

Holy crap, I can't believe they're doing something like this. Do you get to pick your prize, I imagine? (since getting a Ridill if you don't play a job that can use it would suck)

There is no set # of winners per server, but the odds of top prize are less than # of people per server. You pick 5 numbers. Getting the last number, gets your rank 5, getting the last 2 right gets you rank 4 and so on. You can even pick the same # all five times, so it is possible someone would get to pick 5 items from the top rank category.

So to get top prize you have to pick all 5 numbers right which is a 1 in 100,000 chance. Each player can purchase 5 tickets at 1000 gil each. Technically, you can have mules buy tickets too as long as they are level 5 or higher. Of course that would only be good for the non EX prizes.

This is actually brilliant marketing. They are going to collect so much money this month from the extra content IDs.

I hope they mess something up and a crazy amount of people win a bunch of money so the economy is ruined again! Either that or bring back the RMT's... no one likes deflation in MMOs.

I like deflation. I've been able to get by selling stuff to NPCs lately.

It's very weird. And the level 5 limit is just an encouragement for mules to enter. I'm surprised they didn't make it at least 20 or 30. For the first time in my FF career I wish I had a mule.

I'm not sure I'd take the 100m. I might get one of the other items.

Your chances of winning the "big one" then, I guess are 1 in 100k, but you can enter 10 times.

It's going to be funny when a legit level 12 noob wins 100m.

I think you would pretty much have to take the 100 million. You can buy pretty much anything on that list for a fraction of that, even if it means dealing with some end game shells to buy the drops.

I might take the Usukane Body instead. It'd be a tough choice. The Ridill comes to mind as a hard to get item too.

it would be tough for me to pick between Ridill, Futsuno Mitama, and 100 million.

I bet you could buy a Ridill from an end game shell for less than 100mill.

I'd definitely take the 100 million and fund my Aegis with it. For the second rank, it's between the gil, the Homam Corazza and the Velocious Belt. Third, definitely the Hauteclaire.

It's fun to daydream... In reality, I'll probably have inventory -10 on multiple characters during the lottery period, and a couple Miratete's Memoirs on characters with no jobs over 20 when it's over.

There's a good chance you could get the xp page kiki Wink

I couldn't think of a use for 100m for either of my jobs at first. There's just not much left to buy, but a pair of Herald's Gaiters would be nice.
