I might try selling a few things that have been sitting in my stash for a while on the Real Money AH. Are people dumb enough to spend real money on stuff? _________________ Core meltdown (commonly known as a meltdown) is an accident scenario in nuclear reactors, and is one of the possible modes of failure for light water reactors, during which the reactor pile turns into a pile of reactor.

My buddy's up to almost $300 after this week, and I've made almost $200, so I'd say yes. _________________ "The problem with quotes on the Internet is the validity of them." -Abraham Lincoln |

I guess I'll play around with it then. Does the transaction fee go up based on how much the list price is? _________________ Core meltdown (commonly known as a meltdown) is an accident scenario in nuclear reactors, and is one of the possible modes of failure for light water reactors, during which the reactor pile turns into a pile of reactor.

It's always $1 cut for Blizzard on sale, then 15% when you transfer to Paypal. _________________ "The problem with quotes on the Internet is the validity of them." -Abraham Lincoln |

I assume you will need to transfer it to PayPal in order to get access to the money. I also assume keeping it with Blizzard is just if you want to spend money on the $$$ AH. _________________ Core meltdown (commonly known as a meltdown) is an accident scenario in nuclear reactors, and is one of the possible modes of failure for light water reactors, during which the reactor pile turns into a pile of reactor.

Correct. But honestly spending money on D3 gear is crazy, I'd never do it. I'm just happy lots of other people will. _________________ "The problem with quotes on the Internet is the validity of them." -Abraham Lincoln |

What REALLY pisses me off about their AH is that you can ONLY search Legendary or Set by name... You can't search for something like Wirt's Original Leg or something that isn't a Legendary or a Set. _________________ Core meltdown (commonly known as a meltdown) is an accident scenario in nuclear reactors, and is one of the possible modes of failure for light water reactors, during which the reactor pile turns into a pile of reactor.

There's lots of things they want to improve about the AH search system, yeah. _________________ "The problem with quotes on the Internet is the validity of them." -Abraham Lincoln |

If you are an altaholic like I am, get socketed weapons as soon as you can in Normal Difficulty. Put in the best +Damage gems you can. I was messing around with my Monk last night in Act II. Dropped one of the +14-28 damage gems into each weapon. On fast weapons, it added a little over 100 DPS (considering my starting DPS was 135...). Makes it go quite a lot faster.
After the gem combination price drop, I see tons of gems in items on the Gold AH. Buy the item, remove the gem, dump the item. Simple. _________________ Core meltdown (commonly known as a meltdown) is an accident scenario in nuclear reactors, and is one of the possible modes of failure for light water reactors, during which the reactor pile turns into a pile of reactor.

Cheaper to salvage the item which also returns the gem, for free. I mean, if you didn't want the item anyway. _________________ "The problem with quotes on the Internet is the validity of them." -Abraham Lincoln |

I just discovered the Gold AH was selling gems now. I don't bother with getting gems that way. I just buy the Flawless Square Gems of whatever color in batches of 5 or 10. A batch of 10 costs between 2k and 8k gold and you get a refund of 100 to 500 gold each time for some odd reason.
I'm socketing damage gems (+14-2 damage on my weapons and it's adding 30 to 50 DPS per weapon depending upon weapon speed. Then putting those same gems as whatever my damage stat is (Str, Dex, Int) in all slots of gear (I buy gear that has sockets when possible now).
I'm learning... _________________ Core meltdown (commonly known as a meltdown) is an accident scenario in nuclear reactors, and is one of the possible modes of failure for light water reactors, during which the reactor pile turns into a pile of reactor.

Anyone else still playing this? My HC WD is just shy of 54, in Hell Act 1. I just picked up a reduced level requirement 2-hander that shot my dps up to 8200, so I'm back to god-mode till... Act 2?
I don't have a SC character that has progressed this far, so I'm seeing content for the first time as I level her. _________________ You are the result of 4 billion years of evolutionary success.
