I've done all the heroics now, and we also killed a couple raid bosses on Monday. The content is very, very challenging, it feels a lot more like TBC and I love it. Looking forward to getting back into the raids this weekend with better gear.

I had read almost the exact same thing somewhere...that the new instances feel a LOT more TBC-esque, in that they are actually challenging.

I watched all of TotalHalibut's stuff on youtube during the beta. It all looked challenging. I am going to do all the non-instance questing and stuff first to get the Cata experience then dive headlong into 5-mans. I'm not much of a raider, so I probably won't see much of that.

By the way, were are the QMs that you use Justice Points to buy stuff now? Looks like the same Dalaran merchants only sell level 80 stuff...

Dalaran is a dead city, no reason to be there. Stormwind and Orgrimmar have the new vendors.

Aha. I don't suppose you'd divulge where these merchants are within, say, Orgrimmar...

Same buliding that Hellscream is in, except on the top floor. You can't buy anything until you're level 85.

Uldum is hella fun. I was hoping to see Harrison Jones again, and you quest with him for most of Uldum.

I've got a hunter to 85 and Loremaster of Cataclysm.

For some odd reason, I haven't queue'd up for any dungeons yet. I think I need to do some research before I do as I know all the instances are harder now (more control, CC, etc).

Depends on your role.

As far as heroics being hard goes, that lasted about 2 weeks.

Go try raids, they're pretty ridiculous too.

I'm scheduled to have my finger nails removed with a pair of rusty pliers tonight.

But, seriously... I'd rather do that than raid...

I can't see any reason to play WoW beyond raiding.

I meant no insult. Just strikes me that there are better avenues for just about every other facet of WoW to be found else where. That being said, I have several friends who have played since beta or shortly after launch that still don't have any 80's and one without a single character over 50ish.

I do totally understand raiding being frustrating if you aren't in the right environment though.
