Hmmm, tempting. The wife and I have talked about trying XIV again. Finding time to play would be an issue though, stupid life.

Uggghhh... I'll just be the backwards nazi then, I'm not even sure my graphics card could handle XIV anyway.

If Talula plays, I'm there.

Not really, but you know...

I feel loved. Dancing

As interesting as the new expansion and game changes in XI sound, I don't think I could enjoy the game anymore. It took me a long time (the entire time I played FFXI) to come to grips with the fact that I just wasn't cut out for hardcore online gaming. The stuff I've been playing recently is more my speed.

I didn't mention you because we figured that out about you before you did. Razz

Honestly, the more I think about it, the more I think it isn't a very good idea for me either. I can't enjoy these types of games unless I go full-in and that usually burns me out pretty quickly.

they're actually calling it the cataclysm? I feel like there should be some copyright issues there, haha

Cataclysm is my cheeky term for the impending doom. The official phrase seems to be the Seventh Umbral Era finale.

They're even better in motion! Plus the music is more soothing than the personal chocobo music.

I logged in for the first time in over 3 years last night and was LOST. Completely, utterly lost..... even more so than I used to be. Razz

Not sure if I'll put much more time in or not after that. I only left my mog house once. haha

I probably wouldn't be able to find the door to leave my mog house.

HAH!!! Laughing

Eisen, my issue was more the controls, what gear went where, etc.... though to be fair, my memory was a little fuzzy on the areas too. Plus they moved the OP warp npc since my last login, and that threw me for a loop.
