Its as if millions of nerds suddenly cried out in terror and then were silenced....

At any rate yeah it stinks, but they said they're pushing it back to refine the game and add more dungeons.

I read somewhere that Eiji Aonuma appologized for the "Tri-Force Hunt" in wind waker saying that it was boring and there should have been more dungeons.

Personally, it doesn't bother me all too much. I barely manage to tear myself away from FFXI to play any console games anyway, and there's a few others coming out this year that I want (Kingdom Hearts II, .hack//G.U.) so that just means less time I have to find for regular gaming >.>

In any case, for anyone who was really hyped about this coming out right now, I feel your pain. KH2 has been delayed a few times already, and it's frustrating -_-

Much as I predicted:

http://www.1up.com/do/newsStory?cId=3146578&did=1

Basically they're going to add support for the rev controller to the game. I said before they'd add something to it when its popped into a revolution, but I didn't expect it to be new controller support.

Anyone who played the 2 zelda games that were released just as the GBA was coming out would have expected much the same. In those two games there was a special store that you could only get into on a GBA.

Edit: Oops, maybe not:

The article in the January edition of NGC Magazine is pure speculation. Nintendo have made no new announcements regarding The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. We can however confirm that the game is still in development and that it will launch on Nintendo GameCube in 2006.

Well, this doesn't affect me, but I have to say I prefer companies that delay a release to companies that just ship it.

It pisses us off a bit, but it actually costs them money to delay so I view this as a committment to quality of sorts. It's one of the things I admire about Bliz.

Agreed. Probably the #1 reason I've always had high respect for Blizzard. Diablo one especially was programming masterpiece. The online had hacking issues, etc, but the game itself was silly good for the time. They always seem to have the opinion of shipping the right game instead of at the right time.

Nintendo is always THE best at this. A lot of people are pissed about Metroid Hunters, a game who's demo shipped with the Nintendo DS about a year and a half ago that still hasn't been released. Well, a lot of people were also upset when they announced it wouldn't have online wifi deathmatch type stuff, so they delayed it almost a year to add a whole new portion to the game.

Here's to hoping that Elder Scroll IV being delayed makes it a half way decently programmed game.

Dude, I ain't a religious sort of fellow but I gotta say I'm prayin' for the same.

I mean for real, I have played the HELL out of some Elder Scrolls Games over the years. I have some high expectations. They want my money? They better DELIVER.
